Troubled former child star Amanda Bynes inexplicably insulted pop star Rihanna Sunday on Twitter before quickly deleting her posts.

"@Rihanna you look so ugly tryin to be white," read the first tweet, followed 10 minutes later by "Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough." Another followed almost immediately: "No one wants to be your lover so you call everyone and their mother that I almost named my new dog Rihanna."

Rihanna, 25, quickly responded on her own Twitter page, "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?" referring to A&E's long-running drug-intervention series, which the network recently axed.

Bynes, 27, replied in turn, "Unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!"
