Some notables in the Knicks' schedule

The NBA released the schedule tonight and here are some notable games, stats regarding the Knicks:

* They open up at Brooklyn against the Nets in a TNT game.

* They play 32 games on TNT, ABC, ESPN and NBA TV

* They open the season with four games in five nights and close the season with 13 of their last 22 on the road.

* They play Jeremy Lin on Nov. 23 in Houston, and he makes his Garden return Dec. 17.

* LeBron James and the champion Heat are at the Garden for the home opener Nov. 2 and again March 3.

* The Knicks play the Lakers on Christmas Day in L.A.

* Carmelo Anthony returns to Denver for the first time March 13

*The Knicks longest homestand is six games – Dec. 13-23 (Lakers, Cavs, Rockets, Nets, Bulls, Wolves)

*The Knicks longest road trip is five games – March 11-18 (Golden State, Denver, Portland, LA Clippers, Utah)

*The Knicks play 19 sets of back-to-back. (They had 21 last year)
