Suffolk SPCA investigator Regina Benfante removes a large tortoise from a home in Medford, one of about 150 animals rescued from the home. Town of Brookhaven officials say the animals were not fed or given water recently. The occupants of the home were cooperative and helping with the animals' removal, town officials said.
