• Stereogum has a review of Julian Casablancas' solo album up already, though the album doesn't drop until next week. It's largely positive and makes me (even more) excited to hear it.
• Also, did you catch Albert Hammond Jr. on "Gossip Girl" last night? (I can't find video, so I hope you DVR'd it.) He's shaved his head and is all skinny, but that was definitely him, playing the opening of Chuck Bass' club — which seems like a real life thing he would do, if Chuck Bass was a real 20-year-old taste making real estate mogul. Hammond played an acoustic version of "In Transit" from his first solo album.
