From Wall Street to the Web
The Hafizi brothers are being featured in an online video documentary at selfmadeworld.com, a site with free immigrant-focused content.
The site's founder and film- maker Graham Lawlor, who worked on Wall Street, chose to profile Ali and Hash after three years of buying coffee from their Good Morning America push cart.
"They've always been super friendly," said Lawlor. "I was just so impressed by [their] work ethic and energy."
The Hafizi brothers' video is the latest of about nine documentaries about immigrants on the Web site. "Some people think of the word immigration and think of people sneaking through the desert in Texas," said Lawlor, who moved to the U.S. from Canada at age four.
"But [immigrants] are everyone from push-cart owners to Sergey Brin, who founded Google. They're doctors, researchers and traders. I just want to try to put that perspective out there."
