Art is art is art, and fashion designer Claire Fleury and photographer Alesia Exum bring together the art of photography, video and fashion under one roof at Strange Loop Gallery. Check out the "Love Conquers All" exhibit opening Thursday, which features photography by Alice O'Malley, Timothy Atticus, Alesia Exum and Drashko, videos by Sarah White, and fashion design by Louda Larrain, Tunji Dada, Deli Grocery, Bonbon Trust, Kitsch and Claire Fleury. (Opening Thursday, 6-8 p.m., FREE, Strange Loop Gallery, 27 Orchard St., 646-410-2083, strangeloopgallery.com)
It's been a mild winter this year, so if you're desperate to see snow, assuage your eyes for a bit with "Snowblind," an exhibit of snow-inspired artwork and photos from urban documentarian Martha Cooper, Carnage zine creator Ray Mock and others. The show also kicks off the second issue of Carnage. (Friday through March 3, 6-10 p.m., FREE, Klughaus Gallery, 47 Monroe St., 646-801-6024, RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, klughaus.net)
