‘Downton Abbey’ tea truck headed to Manhattan this week

“Downton Abbey” fans can warm up while sipping tea at Highclere Castle on their lunch break this week.

Servers donning period garb will be giving away free tea and biscuits around town in a mobile truck inspired by the PBS show ahead of its Jan. 5 season premiere.

The truck will be serving snacks between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. every day but Thursday, when it will be open from noon until 8 p.m.

It will make its first stop Mondayy at East 14th Street and University Place, before going to 6th Avenue between 40th Street and 41st Street Tuesday, 50th Street between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue on Wednesday, 41st Street between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue on Thursday and at Broadway between 66th Street and 67th Street on Friday.
