Mimi Cheng's isn't fooling around.

The East Village dumpling spot known for its organic ingredients and crazily tasty monthly creations has announced its April special: Truffle Risotto Dumplings. 

The new menu item, available only in April, features a dumpling filled with slow-cooked risotto, roasted mushrooms, caramelized baby onions, spring leeks, white truffle and parmesan cheese, topped with fresh parsley. 

"Spring in a risotto dumpling bite" is how Mimi Cheng's describes the brand-new seasonal treat. 

Former seasonal options have ranged from March's Guacamole-Burger mash-up with By Chloe, last May's taco dumplings, as well as sausage and egg brunch dumplings, turkey and cranberry Thanksgiving dumplings and many more.

Mimi Cheng's (79 Second Ave.) is also planning to open a second location in NoLIta this spring.
