The cast of “7th Heaven” is family, on screen and off.
The Camdens casually shared a meal at a restaurant Wednesday night — nearly eight years after the show ended.
The only person missing: Ruthie.
Stephen Collins, better known as Rev. Eric Camden, shared the exciting news on Twitter.
"1st time in 8 yrs Joy, laughs! Dave, Preg @beverlymitchel, me, jessicabiel, realBarryWatson, Cath. No @mack_smack,” Collins tweeted, along with a picture of the cast.
Unfortunately, Happy, the family dog, didn’t make it.
"Happy’s in Doggy heaven," Collins confirmed.
Fraternal twins Sam and David also missed out on the get together, because it was “just the originals.”
"Next time!" Collins tweeted.
Beverly Mitchell, who played Lucy Camden on the show, shared the news on WhoSay.
"Something truly amazing happened last night and my heart is overflowing! Love these peeps more than I can ever explain! @JessicaBiel@StephenCollins @realbarrywatson David Gallagher, Catherine Hicks, we were just missing Mack!” she wrote.
The show premiered in 1996 and ran for 11 seasons, ending in 2007.
Is there going to be a “7th Heaven” reunion in our future? That’s what Twitter users wanted to know.
"did you talk about the (upcoming) 7th Heaven reunion? #wishlist,” one user asked Collins.
Collins didn’t say the dinner was anything more than a friendly reunion, but here’s to hoping.
