With April just days away, it's time to take a look at the must-see movies that will be rolling out in theaters this summer. Here's a peek at the blockbusters, comedies and indie films worth marking on your calendar, from the superhero action flicks to the Judd Apatow-stamped comedies.

BLOCKBUSTERS

Iron Man

Now that Christian Bale has proven that esteemed actors can play superheroes without looking cheesy, Robert Downey Jr. dons an iron suit to play Tony Stark, billionaire industrialist-turned-crimefighter. Jon Favreau directs. (May 2)

Speed Racer

The Wachowski brothers jazz up the speedway in this seductively flashy, futuristic adaptation of the original Japanese anime series. Emile Hirsch and Christina Ricci star. (May 9)

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

The Pevensie children return to Narnia a year later and discover that time in Narnia flows 1,300 times faster. With the help of dwarves and badgers, they aid Prince Caspian in a fight against his evil uncle. (May 16)

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Nearly 20 years after "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," everyone's favorite whip-wielding archaeologist is back at it, this time fighting Soviet scum in his quest for the titular skull. Cue the John Williams theme song. (May 22)

Sex and the City

Carrie leans on her BFFs when Mr. Big bails on their wedding engagement. If you thought you wouldn't have to see these four ladies' faces plastered on billboards ever again, you were wrong. (May 30)

The Incredible Hulk

Judging from the trailers, this Hulk movie seems to have all the adrenaline and action that critics say Ang Lee's 2003 version lacked. Stars Ed Norton as The Hulk and Tim Roth as his nemesis. (June 13)

The Happening

After "Lady in the Water," M. Night Shyamalan's cred took a nosedive. We'll see if Mark Wahlberg can help him gain it back in this apocalyptic thriller. (June 13)

Wall-E

Pixar's long-awaited tale about the last robot on Earth will undoubtedly become a favorite among all ages. Wall-E's mission? To clean up all the trash after humans leave the planet. (June 27)

Wanted

Angelina Jolie may be a humanitarian mama in real life, but she maintains her badass screen cred in "Wanted," about an ancient fraternity of assassins whose motto is "kill one, save a thousand." (June 27)
