Beyoncé is most powerful celebrity: Forbes

After a massively successful secret album drop and world tour, Forbes confirmed what many have already been thinking: Beyoncé is the girl who runs the entertainment world.

Queen Bey topped the magazine’s annual Celebrity 100 list, which ranks celebrities according to measurements of estimated earnings, fame, social media power, and cultural influence over the past 12 months.

LeBron James took second place after the songstress, whose hubby, Jay Z came in 6th. Oprah fell to 4th place from first last year, and Dr. Dre moved up from 63rd to 3rd with estimated earnings of $620 million this past year.

This year’s list is diverse, with five women in the top ten, and seven African Americans. Floyd Mayweather, the first athlete to earn $100 million since Tiger Woods according toForbes’ yearly ranking, came in 7th. Ellen DeGeneres who famously “broke Twitter” with her star studded Acadamy Award selfie in March came in 5th.
