The family of comatose music scion Bobbi Kristina Brown reportedly is preparing to say goodbye to her after doctors have arrived at a terminal prognosis.

People magazine on Thursday, citing an unnamed family member, said a doctor told the family on Wednesday nothing more could be done for the 21-year-old daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late pop star Whitney Houston.

Her father has been in tears since hearing the news, the source told People. A second family member, according to the magazine, said the realization of her imminent death is dawning on relatives, who are continuing to pray for her survival.

On Saturday, Bobbi Kristina Brown's longtime partner Nick Gordon, whom earlier reports misidentified as her husband, found her unresponsive in a bathtub of her town house in Roswell, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Gordon and a police officer who responded to a 911 call performed CPR before Brown was taken by ambulance to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell. She was placed in a medically induced coma and later moved to an Atlanta facility E! identified as Emory University Hospital.

The incident occurred less than two weeks before the third anniversary of her mother's similar death on Feb.11, 2012.
