Film star Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte guitarist and vocalist Benji Madden were married Monday evening in Los Angeles, according to reports in multiple outlets.

Us Weekly said "Annie" star Diaz, 42, and Madden, 35, were wed at her Beverly Hills home before guests including actresses Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow, DJ Samantha Ronson and Pussycat Dolls dance-troupe founder Robin Antin. Serving as bridesmaids were Diaz's older sister, Chimene; the star's assistant, Jesse Lutz; actress Drew Barrymore; and reality-TV star Nicole Richie, who is married to Madden's twin brother and bandmate, Joel. Richie and Joel Madden's son, Sparrow, 5, served as ring bearer.

People magazine reported that event planner Yifat Oren, who has handled weddings for Barrymore, Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman, had been spotted arriving at Diaz's home Monday.

The couple had hosted a rehearsal dinner in Beverly Hills on Sunday night, Us said.

Diaz was first linked to Madden in May, Us said.

Richie told talk-show host Andy Cohen on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" in July that she was the one who set up the couple.

Engagement rumors had begun last month, shortly before Us on Dec. 23 ran photographs of Diaz brandishing a large apparent engagement ring while running errands in West Hollywood the day before.

Diaz and New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez had an on-again, off-again relationship since at least July 2010 before breaking up for good in September 2011.

Her previous boyfriends include actors Matt Dillon and Jared Leto, and singer-actor Justin Timberlake. Madden was previously engaged to Australian model-actress Sophie Monk, but the two ended their engagement in 2008. He has dated reality-TV star Paris Hilton and former Hugh Hefner paramour Holly Madison.

Diaz's representative did not respond to a Newsday request for comment. A representative for Madden could not be reached.
