She first did so in 2013 in her speech accepting the Gotham Independent Film Award for Best Actress, for “Short Term 12.”
Greenwald, primarily known for the band Phantom Planet, has written songs performed on the soundtracks of TV shows including “Chuck,” “Gossip Girl” and “The O.C.,” and such movies as “No Strings Attached” (2011) and “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012). Larson, who played the sister of Amy Schumer’s character in “Trainwreck” last year, starred as daughter Kate Gregson on Showtime’s “United States of Tara” (2009-2011).
