Taylor Swift, Nelly perform at Karlie Kloss’ East Hampton birthday party

Pop star Taylor Swift and hip-hop artist Nelly serenaded supermodel Karlie Kloss at her birthday bash in the Hamptons Saturday.

Us Weekly said the two Grammy Award-winners got onstage for a duet of Nelly’s “Dilemma” at an unspecified spot in East Hampton, where Swift’s friend Kloss, who turned 24 on Wednesday, held a joint birthday celebration with another friend, Hess Corporation heir Mike Hess. Swift, 26, sang the part originally performed by Kelly Rowland in her and Nelly’s 2002 Grammy-winning Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.

Online cellphone videos show “Hot in Herre” rapper Nelly, 41, in a white T-shirt, white pants and white sneakers and Swift in a black, off-the-shoulder top, black thigh-length skirt and white sneakers as well, bathed in purple light.

Two days before the party, Swift had posted an Instagram image of herself and Kloss in close-up, writing, “I LOVE YOU KARLIE! You’re such an exquisite person, always trying to make things better for others. Every day I’m inspired by how giving, loving, and thoughtful you are. Happy 24th Birthday!!!”

Kloss on Aug. 3 had tweeted an image of a verdant field, a bouquet of sunflowers and other flora in a glass vase, and a softly smiling image of Swift in a notepad computer on the ground. “When you’re halfway around the world & your best friend still finds a way to celebrate 24 with you,” Kloss wrote.

People magazine, which had initially reported the duet, said Kloss and Swift had met through a mutual friend, Victoria’s Secret Angel and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Lily Aldridge, and that the two had been together at a Fourth of July party at Swift’s Rhode Island home. They had appeared together on the cover of the March 2015 issue of Vogue, where Swift said, “People had been telling us for years that we needed to meet,” adding, “I remember makeup artists and hair people going, ‘God, she and Karlie would be best friends.’ “
