Dina Lohan pleads guilty to DWI, speeding
Dina Lohan is expected to be fined and sentenced to community service after pleading guilty Tuesday to drunken driving and speeding, prosecutors said.
Lohan, 51, the Merrick mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, pleaded guilty before Nassau District Court Judge Andrew Engel in Hempstead to misdemeanor aggravated driving while intoxicated and to speeding, prosecutors said.
"I'll never be back here again," Lohan said. "You can quote me on that one."
Engel is expected to sentence Lohan to a conditional discharge and 100 hours of community service, according to the Nassau County district attorney's office. She will be fined $2,600, with a $483 surcharge, prosecutors said.
Lohan is scheduled to be sentenced June 3.
She had a blood alcohol level of 0.20 percent -- more than double the legal limit of 0.08 percent -- when she was arrested by State Police on Sept. 12, 2013, authorities said. Police said she was driving a white BMW at 77 mph in a 55-mph zone westbound near Route 135 in Oyster Bay Town.
