DVD & Blu-ray reviews, including ‘Grown Ups 2’

"Grown Ups 2": Unless you’re a die-hard Adam Sandler fan, there aren’t many reasons to see this comedy sequel about a bunch of old friends and their juvenile antics. I have to admit that it is more watchable than the first one, but that’s thanks to the addition of Shaquille O’Neal, who is my most guilty of pleasures. I’m not saying this movie is worth seeing (it’s not, really), but if these are your guilty pleasures, it’s your time to waste. (DVD, $30.99; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $40.99)

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition": If 169 minutes of Hobbits walking places wasn’t enough, here are 13 more minutes. (DVD, $34.99; Blu-ray, $35.99; Blu-ray 3-D/Blu-ray combo, $54.98)

"White House Down": When the White House is taken over by a paramilitary group, it’s up to Channing Tatum to save the day. (DVD, $30.99; Blu-ray/DVD combo, $40.99)

"Under the Dome": Stephen King’s novel about a town trapped by a dome gets a miniseries. (DVD, $54.99; Blu-ray, $76.99)
