And the nominees for the 2017 Golden Globes are ... 

“La La Land,” starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, received a total of seven nods. “Moonlight” followed closely behind with six.

“Moonlight” and “Manchester by the Sea” are up for best motion picture drama. “Moonlight,” starring Trevante Rhodes, Ashton Sanders and Alex Hibbert, won best feature at the 2016 Gotham Awards.

The ceremony, set to be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, will air at 8 p.m., Jan. 8 on NBC.
