Jon Stewart, back on "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" Thursday, once again made an appeal for the stalled Zadroga act -- which would ensure medical financial aid for 9/11 first responders, many of whom continue to struggle with a variety of debilitating illnesses.
But this was a little different from the one he made Tuesday, on "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah:" This one involved a Donald Trump wig, a bag of Cheetos, and the revival of a favorite impression.
Watch this and you may be left with the sense that Stewart really misses this game, and even -- on some level -- misses Trump, a "TDS" guest in years past, and a frequent target. There's even a little bit of fondness in this performance, too. (It also proves there's always a cheap laugh in a Trump impersonation, if there's a wig involved).
