Linkin Park performed a surprise mini-show at Grand Central Terminal this week, because commuting in New York City can be a drag.

The performance, taped on Tuesday, was a part of the week-long “Good Morning America” pop-up series and aired Thursday morning.

Though Linkin Park has a new album (“One More Light”) scheduled for release this Friday, the band went old school for the show with its 2000 hit, “In the End.”

Photos from the station showed dozens of fans gathering to watch, some throwing money into a guitar cut-out.

Pop-Up Week also included a Times Square performance by Sara Bareilles and the cast of "Waitress" on Tuesday.
