Logo’s ‘Fire Island’ gets a premiere date

The gay-oriented cable channel Logo has announced an airdate for its upcoming reality show “Fire Island.”

The series, set in Fire Island Pines, will premiere April 27, at 8 p.m., Logo said on Tuesday.

“Fire Island” follows a group of young LGBTQ professionals — including New York University graduate Justin Russo, a New York City-based artist and illustrator — as they share a beachfront house for the summer.

“Fire Island” is from Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Productions.

The show was parodied in a memorable skit on last weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.”
