‘Mean Girls’ musical: Who we’d cast as Regina George, more

A musical adaptation of a millennial film as memorable as “Mean Girls” deserves a cast Gretchen Wieners herself would define as “so fetch.”

“Mean Girls” is slated to make its big stage debut at Washington D.C.’s National Theatre on Oct. 31. Creator Tina Fey has adapted the script of her 2004 film, which, of course, starred Lindsay Lohan. Here’s hoping Fey left in the classic “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Kevin G” talent show numbers.

If we were in charge of casting Fey’s musical masterpiece, here’s who we’d pick to play Regina George, Cady Heron and the rest of the group.
