Melissa Rivers, who said in May she planned to scatter her mother Joan Rivers' ashes in New York, London and Wyoming, Tuesday revealed that she did so in that Western state last month.

"Coop and I took our annual family vacation to Wyoming," Rivers, 47, told "Entertainment Tonight," referring to her 14-year-old son, Cooper. "[The] first without my mom, and scattered some of her ashes there so we can still be together every August as a family."

She had posted Instagram photos of that vacation two weeks ago, one showing Cooper on a horse, another showing him floating in an inner tube "in the swimming hole."

Rivers also told "E.T." she had no elaborate plans for Friday, the first anniversary of her comedy-icon mother's death at 81.

"Everyone expects me to have this big grand plan for the 4th and I am just going to be spending it with my son," she said. "He is going to go to school, I am going to go to work and come home and light a candle, and have a glass of wine."
