A look back at Lindsay Lohan's 21st year

Oh, Lindsay Dee Lohan. You've grown up right before our eyes, and on Wednesday you grow up some more when you turn 22. But before we roll out the cake, we wanted to roll back time and recap this past year and take a peek ahead.
YOUR MOVIES: Sigh. Last year's "I Know Who Killed Me" almost killed your film career. But we're confident "Labor Pains," which you just started production on last month, will do much better. How could it not? You pretend to be preggers to avoid being fired from your job. Genius! And then there's your turn on "Ugly Betty." You're a good comedic actress -- stay away from the slasher flicks.
YOUR MUSIC: Did Ne-Yo really help you on "Bossy"? The dance-y first track off your as-yet-untitled fall album falls short of your past recorded work (the song "Rumors" comes to mind).
YOUR LIFE: We were glad to see you leave Promises Treatment Center last July, even if you had to wear that alcohol-detection device. But then you were arrested and charged with DUI and cocaine possession later in the month. Oy. In August you checked into the Cirque Lodge rehab program in Utah. We'll skip the alleged bathroom romance with that Tony Allen guy and focus on the good: You got clean and picked up a real boyfriend (sorta), snowboarder Riley Giles. As for your most recent personal developments, i.e., the kiss with your DJ friend Samantha Ronson, it's none of our business.
YOUR B-DAY BASH: "I think she is having a b-day dinner with Dina and the kids and haven't been told anything else," your longtime rep, Leslie Sloane, said.
YOUR APPEAL: "We loved her when she was young in 'The Parent Trap,' 'Freaky Friday' and even 'Mean Girls'," Katie Caperton, an executive editor at OK! Magazine, said of you. "She has gone through so much, she's stumbled and gotten back up -- people just love that story, falling and coming out happy and healthy on the other end."
