Linda Lavin stars in Paul Rudnick's new comedy, "The New Century", comprised of four intertwined short plays. Lavin plays a concerned Long Island mother of at least three gay children. She heads the Massapequa chapter of P.L.G.B.T.Q.C.C.&O, (Parents of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, the Transgendered, the Questioning, the Curious, the Creatively Concerned and Others). (Newsday / Ari Mintz)
