Where to go for a really happy new year.

Dragon New Year at The Maritime Hotel Hiro Ballroom, Hiro Lounge, and the Cabanas at the Maritime are the settings for the New Year's Eve party. General admission includes open bar (9 PM - 2 AM), champagne at midnight, food from La Bottega. A table for up to 8 people (The Cabanas or Hiro Dancefloor): includes the above, plus one bottle of vodka and bottle of champagne. B-Bar. A mere $35 gets you in, but there's a cash bar. For $175 per person, there are VIP tables that seats up to eight. Price includes two bottles of vodka and a bottle of champagne. And you can smoke outside in the heated garden. (40 East Fourth Street; 10 pm; 212-475-2220)

Crobar This party takes its theme as '80s excess -- Madonna, MIchael Jackson, and Cher. You get the picture. General admission is $125 per person, which buys anything you want to drink at the open bar (8:30pm - 1am), plus a champagne toast. (530 West 28th Street; 8:30 pm-1:30; 212-629-9000)

360 Red Hook's favorite bistro is doing a four-course prix-fixe menu for its second seating of the night, which starts at 9 p.m. They weren't yet sure of the main course, but the price is right: $40 per person. (360 Van Brunt Street; 718-246-0360)

Lotus The party takes you back to the roaring twenties, and you're expected to dress for it. General admission is $125 per person, which includes an open bar rom 8:30pm - 1am. Official MTV Cast at NA With open bar, champagne toast, hors d'oeuvres, party favors. After-hours party until 8 am. Special live performance by Flavor Flav of Public Enemy at 2 am. (246 West 14th Street; $150 per person; VIP: $225 per person)

Rise. If you want a front-row seat for the fireworks around the Statue of Liberty, you can head to Rise, at the Ritz Carlton in Battery Park City. Champagne, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will set you back $195 per person. (Two West Street; 212-344-0800)

Megu. General admission ($150 per person) covers an open bar from 9:30pm-2am, plus a sushi buffet from 10pm-12:30am and a champagne toast at midnight (61 Thomas Street; 212-964-7777).
