Under the heading “what took ’em so long?” E! just handed a six-part series to Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, the latest K couple to burn up the internet, expect a baby and allow cameras to chronicle “their new life while setting up their new home and preparing for their first child together.”

Expect a fall launch. The working title is “Rob & Chyna.”

E! said — or promised — that the six one-hour episodes would be an intimate look at the couple as “they openly share” the rituals of impending parenthood.

“Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place,” said Jeff Olde, E! chief of original programming, in a statement. “We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”

Rob (as you know) is essentially the Shy One of the Kardashian clan, or at least less visible — appearing in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and spin-offs, but not (as yet) his own series. The tabloids ramped up coverage earlier this year when he began dating hip-hop video star Blac Chyna (Angela Renée White). Both announced (via Instagram) their engagement, then early last month, her pregnancy.
