As news broke that his longtime partner, Kourtney Kardashian, was ending their relationship, reality TV star Scott Disick reportedly checked into rehab Sunday but left after only a few hours.

Us Weekly said that at the urging of friends, Disick, 32, had placed himself at a Florida facility upon returning from Monte Carlo, France, where he had been photographed partying on a yacht with his arm around ex-girlfriend Chloé Bartoli. He left the facility the same day, the magazine said.

Disick was scheduled to host a party Friday night at the Las Vegas club 1 OAK, but TMZ.com reported Thursday night that he had postponed the appearance.

Disick, originally of Eastport, missed a Disneyland birthday party Wednesday for his 3-year-old daughter, Penelope, one of his three children with Kardashian, 36, eldest of the Kardashian siblings from E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." He tweeted that day, "1 of the only things I'm proud off [sic] about myself. Happybdayp," linked to Instagram photos of Penelope. He and Kardashian also have two sons, Mason, 5, and Reign, nearly 7 months.

Disick's history of alcohol abuse played out on last year's E! series "Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons," which saw Disick enter Connecticut's Mountainside Treatment Center after a night of hard partying but leave less than a week later.

As well, said TMZ.com at the time, Disick's bingeing at a Hamptons nightclub that June 22 made him sick enough to believe he might have been drugged.

He was admitted to the Southampton Hospital emergency room, where doctors diagnosed him with alcohol poisoning, the site said.

In 2010, due to alcohol problems seen on "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami," Disick and Kardashian temporarily broke up over the issue and attended counseling together.

Additionally, this March Disick checked himself into the Rythmia Life Advancement Center treatment facility in Costa Rica but left after less than a week.
