'Bachelor' proposes to Shayne Lamas

'The Bachelor," Matt Grant has proposed to actress Shayne Dahl Lamas -- daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas -- on 'The Bachelor.'

So, which one would 'The Bachelor," Matt Grant, propose to: Chelsea Wanstrath or Shayne Lamas, daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas? \

After 25 women had competed for his hand, it came down to just these two.

And the winner was: Lamas, the 22-year-old actress who had proved her mettle by playing rugby in the mud and gamely surviving a meal cooked by Grant himself.

So, Grant proposed on bended knee during the season finale of "The Bachelor: London Calling."

And, of course, as People quoted Lamas, there was the usual dream-come-true sentiment: "It was a fairytale proposal like I've always dreamed about," she said, as she accepted the English global financier's 2.85-carat diamond ring.

"It [was] a beautiful setting," said the groom-to-be, "a beautiful day. Shayne [looked] absolutely exquisite."

Sigh.
