How can MTV make the 2016 Video Music Awards performance lineup even better? Throw some bacon on it.

Nick Jonas will perform at Madison Square Garden for the award show on Aug. 28, MTV announced on Wednesday.

He’ll sing his hit single “Bacon” off his solo album “Last Year Was Complicated.” Ty Dolla $ign, featured in the song, will make a special appearance with him.

Jonas will be taking a quick detour from his 2016 Honda Civic Tour with Demi Lovato, which runs through Sept. 10, to take the VMA stage.

The former Jonas Brother has been impressing fans and critics since the release of his self-titled album in 2014. His hit “Jealous” went double-platinum and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest ranking to date. “Last Year was Complicated,” his third solo album, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart in June 2016.

Other VMA performers include Britney Spears and Video Vanguard Award recipient Rihanna.
