Whoopi Goldberg is returning as co-host of “The View.”
“Ok NOW it’s official, I have re-upped for 1 year returning to @TheView 4 the 2016/2017 season,” the Oscar-winner, 60, tweeted on Monday, following media speculation last month that she was set to be on the upcoming 20th season of the daytime panel-discussion show.
“Will continue 2 annoy some, delight others,” she added.
Goldberg, who has been with “The View” since September 2007, shared a 2009 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host with her fellow “View” panelists. The co-hosts were nominated again in that category this year.
