Fire leaves 12 puppies dead and 14 misplaced in Mount Vernon

A fire, that allegedly began from alcohol on a dirt bike's hot motor, killed 12 puppies and left many homeless on South Second Avenue in Mount Vernon. (Dec. 28, 2012)
