Roland Mouret designs new collection for Banana Republic
Designer Roland Mouret and Banana Republic have joined forces in a body-con collaboration that boasts Mouret's signature "curve appeal" and is sexy, smart and affordable. The designer, who is known for his precise fit (we’re talking va-va-voom here) that celebrates the female form, has created a 27-look capsule collection that includes color blocking and his distinctive draping and structure.
Enticing, for sure, are images of supermodel Karolina Kurkova who, photographed with the hunky Mouret, smolders in the advertising campaign wearing a black and white dress from the collection that has our lust-meters overheating.
Best news of all, while Mouret’s own designs can run thousands of dollars -- (these worn by the likes of Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Olivia Wilde) -- his collaboration with Banana Republic retails for $49.50 to $165.00. The collection will be available exclusively at Banana Republic and bananarepublic.com beginning Aug. 7.
