If having an Apple store is the epitome of cool, Queens is about to get a whole lot cooler.
Elmhurst's Queens Center Mall will be getting an Apple store, the blog 9 to 5 reported on Monday.
The store is reportedly under construction and is likely to open in mid-2015, according to 9 to 5.
Brooklyn and the Upper East Side will also be getting new stores, but sources told 9 to 5 that the stores' development is running behind. The Williamsburg Apple store had a reported target opening date of April 2015, but estimates now look like it will be coming later in the year.
As for the proposed Queens location, 9 to 5 reported that it will be the largest Apple retail store in a New York mall.
