Back from 'rock bottom'
Singer Alanis Morissette remains hopeful of finding true love despite telling People magazine she hit "rock bottom" in her personal life not too long ago.
Giving an interview to promote her new album, she did not comment on her ex Ryan Reynolds' recently announced engagement to actress Scarlett Johansson, but Morissette revealed that she took a break from music recently as she was "tending to my personal life."
Morissette told People she hit "rock bottom" due to "a personal unraveling of significant relationships in my life." But she said writing songs for the new album, "Flavors of Entanglement," served as an outlet for her emotions. She added that she now is dating.
