Police Tuesday said two teens were arrested for allegedly assaulting a subway rider in the Bronx who alleged being attacked by a man with a screwdriver wearing a rainbow wig.

The 45-year-old victim, who was riding a northbound D train at the Grand Concourse Station Saturday at 2:35 p.m., told police that a man wearing a do-rag and jeans punched him in the face, while a man donning a clown wig attempted to stab him with a screwdriver.

After police released the suspects' photos, 17-year-old Jay Nelson and 16-year-old Malik Cruz of Claremont were arrested. The duo was charged with assault, while Cruz was hit with a menacing charge. An NYPD spokesman said it was unclear which teen was wearing the wig.
