I think Bobby Bonds deserves a huge celebration when he breaks the record. He set a record, now give his the honor or recognizing this outstanding achievement.

No taking anything away fro Hank, but the Babe is still the HR King. It took Aaron a life longer to break his record and it took Bonds drugs and a life time more. If Mariss 61 gets a * and the Bonds should get a (yeah right).

Shameful. A despicable Bonds stands to break a record held by Hank Aaron, a man of superior character, who endured taunts and racist comments and still prevailed. He will always be the all-time home run champ to me and many others, until someone without the stench of Bonds comes along.
