Letter from the publisher
To our readers and advertisers,
Friday marks amNewYork's fifth anniversary of delivering local news, trends, entertainment and sports coverage to on-the-go New Yorkers. Already the largest circulated paper in Manhattan, we are celebrating the occasion by upping our circulation today to an unprecedented 385,000 papers from our average 350,000.
amNewYork continues to flourish and rise above the competition, which is particularly noteworthy at a time when market and economic factors are threatening many publications.
While other newspapers have decreased circulation, we have sustained growth. And as we move into our sixth year of publication we will respond to increasing product demands in key metro areas for the benefit of our readers and advertising partners.
As part of our anniversary celebration, we also are unveiling a fresh new look. In addition to giving the paper a visual boost, this bold and dynamic design will make it easier for you to enjoy our content during your often rushed commute.
amNewYork has been fortunate to have experienced constant growth since our 2003 launch and we thank you for making us part of your daily routine. We take great pride in this and we look forward to your continued readership and support.
