Looks Like a Racket, John
A LETTER FROM OZONE PARK
Dear John,
Remember when we all was in court and they played the wiretap or bug on you and we was in court listening to you saying how you were going to make Louis DeBono die like he should, you were going to cut his head off or something, and we knew it was just you talking, except Louis DeBono died and they said that proved something, well, remember we said that someday the judges would find out, they want everybody bugged and wiretapped, they wind up tapped themselves, see how they like it.
Well, John, we was right. The Supreme Court judges just bugged themselves.
You could hear them on tape all over the street. We had it on in the club. The judges all talked on tape. I don't have to tell you, you even say "Good morning" on a tape, two years later they play it in court. The only one who didn't say a word was this Clarence Thomas. The man don't even cough. If you had to go stealing with somebody on the Supreme Court, go out with Thomas, he don't talk.
The others were all over a bug tape. That's how smart they are.
John, you got no idea what this thing has turned into. We could get a president because the woman in Florida wants to fix the registration numbers on some absentee ballots or something, so she takes them home and says, "Look at this, the part where you vote is blank. Let me fill that thing in." Then you'll find her in the place where they count votes, she drops 100 votes on the floor, she bends down to pick them up and slips them in her purse. There goes the 100 votes.
A girl grabs a handful of votes and goes to the ladies' room and puts them in her purse and goes out to dinner and then she goes home and there goes your president. He's out and the other guy is in. That's that. That's lights out.
It don't matter who they say wins the election. Nobody will believe it's on the square. You and I know that the both of them are trying to steal and the biggest thief wins.
They're running a crooked game and they won't even let us in it. The first thing I notice was that they make a big thing out of people not having their vote counted. What about me? Just because I got busted, went and did my time like a man, I can't vote like an American. I walk into the public school to try to vote, the woman dials 911. They told me, nobody did a bit can vote. I pay taxes and they don't let me vote. You too, John. The hack could say, "All right, Gotti, you could go out and vote today. They give you an hour out of jail and you go to vote like an American." You get there, they got armed guards saying, "You don't live in this country. You live in prison country. Go vote for the warden."
I was turning the show off when I heard them say Goar got the smartest lawyer from Harvard, Laurence Tribe.
They don't know nothing. John Gotti got the smartest lawyer from Harvard, Professor Ogiltree. We don't even call him by his first name, like Bruce or Gerry. To us, he's Professor Ogiltree.
So you got the best from Harvard and look where you are, John, in the slam. The best at Harvard can't get you out of jail. So I got to wonder what shot Goar has, he only got the second-best lawyer from Harvard.
On the television they had a Ryder truck on the highway bringing ballots to the court in Talahassee. Everybody in the club says, "Look at this, O.J. just murdered another broad."
They must think we're suckers, John, do you think they put ballots on a truck in Miami and the truck goes all the way to Talahassee, and the same ballots are on the truck that were there at the start? They're saying helicopters going over the truck protected it. They could have had a sky full of bombers over Kennedy Airport when we were driving half the freight terminal home. Come on. A box falls off the back of a truck. That's not a box. That's a guy thought he would be president falling on the road.
Stay in touch,
Skinny Dom
