Subway and Transit (Stand Alone Chart)
Subway and Transit No service on the 1/9 lines between Chambers Street
and South Ferry indefinitely. The World Trade Center station on the E line is
closed, and the N/R line between Canal Street and Whitehall Street is likely to be out of service for weeks during the rescue and clean-up. Additionally, four stations
- Chambers Street on the 2/3 and A/C, Park Place on the 2/3, and Wall Street on the 4/5 - will be temporarily bypassed by subway service until further notice. Some bus service south of Canal Street has been restored to serve
the financial district.
Most service resumes on a regular weekday schedule, except for the changes shown below:
oA 207th Street to Lefferts Blvd. and Far Rockaway.
Normal except: Skips Chambers St. station. Stops at 163rd St. and 155th St. Rush Hours: Express from 145 St. to Euclid Ave.; added A "diamond," 207th St. to Rockaway Park. Middays and Evenings: Express from 145 St. to Euclid Ave. Nights: All local stops 207th St. to Far Rockaway, shuttle from Euclid
Ave. to Lefferts Blvd.
--B Bedford Park Blvd. to 34th Street/Sixth Avenue. Middays:
145th Street to 34th/Sixth Nights: No Service
--C No Service, replaced by E in Brooklyn.
--E Parsons-Archer to Euclid Avenue. Normal except: Skip Chambers St. station.
Extended to Euclid Ave. via C route, local in Brooklyn.
Nights: P-A to Canal Street.
--G Continental Ave. to Smith-Nineth Streets. Nights: Court Square to Smith-Nineth Streets.
--J Parsons-Archer to 95th Street. Normal except: Extended from Broad St. to
95th St. Brooklyn replacing "R" via Fourth Ave. route. All local stops; no skip stop.
Nights: P-A to Broad Street and shuttle in Brooklyn from 36th St. to 95th St.
--M Metropolitan Avenue to Coney Island. Normal except:
