TERRORIST ATTACKS
Feds Seize A 'Material Witness'
Federal authorities arrested a man they described as a "material witness" in the investigation of the attack on the World Trade Center towers, officials said Friday.
The man is being held on a material witness warrant in connection with information that he may be able to provide in the terrorist attack, FBI spokesman Joseph Valiquette said. The arrest took place at 3 p.m. Friday.
Valiquette declined to identify the man, discuss the circumstances of the arrest or where it occurred. Another FBI spokesman, James Margolin, said the arrested man was not among the 11 people detained at Kennedy and LaGuardia airports on Thursday.
