Do you know an extreme commuter?

The Extreme Commuter can be anyone who takes more than the average ride to work. Whether it's a complicated bus and subway transfer, an extra long ride, or just something that requires the person to get up really, really early, amNewYork wants to hear about it.

Mr. Silverman:

I have an excellent "extreme commuter" for your series. He is my co-worker, Reginald Flowers. He rides to Hell's Kitchen everyday from Red Hook, Brooklyn, a journey of almost 8 miles. It's not as long as Ms. Hecker's, but it does take him over the Brooklyn Bridge, which gets pretty chilly on some of these winter mornings and nights. He is also not that comfortable with heights, despite his 6'4” height.

Reg is the Associate Artistic Director of The 52nd Street Project, a non-profit organization that takes the kids of Hell’s Kitchen and matches them up with adult actors and other theater professionals to create original plays (our next show will be at the end of the month). Reg is an immensely talented actor, director, and writer as well as a great bicycle rider.
