Commack

  • A purse with credit cards, money and a checkbook in it was stolen yesterday from a Jeep in the parking lot of the CVS store on Commack Road. A passenger-side window was broken to get inside the car.


  • Five golf clubs valued at more than $3,000 were stolen yesterday from the Golfsmith store on East Jericho Turnpike.


    • Dix Hills

    • Police reported yesterday that a fire was intentionally set on a LIPA right-of-way grass area on Ostego Road.

    East Northport

  • A homeowner on Buhl Lane said his snowblower was stolen from his garage yesterday.
