A man fell to his death from an apartment window in the Bronx on Wednesday during a massive gang raid being conducted in the area, the NYPD said.

According to police, the man, who has not been identified, fell from the sixth floor of an apartment building on East 236th Street near White Plains Road around 5:45 a.m.

He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The NYPD said the man was not being sought as part of the raid. It wasn’t immediately clear if he was running from officers, however a law enforcement source said the man had several prior incidents involving police.

A total of 120 alleged gang members were arrested and charged in two separate indictments on Wednesday in what investigators said is believed to be the largest gang bust in the city’s history.
