NYC protests against police shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile: See photos

Demonstrators marched through the streets of Manhattan on Saturday to protest against recent police shootings of two black men, Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, La., and Philando Castile, in Falcon Heights, Minn., just outside the Twin Cities.

The protest was the third in the city this week. Over a dozen people were arrested at the protest on Saturday, police said.

Sterling, 37, was shot and killed during a struggle with two police officers on Tuesday. A video shot by a bystander has been widely circulated in the aftermath. Castile, 32, was killed Wednesday night by a police officer during a traffic stop.

Both deaths are under investigation.
