Police are searching for a man they say is responsible for a string of livery cab robberies near Kennedy Airport over the last two weeks.

The suspect, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds, got into the cabs, allegedly said he was police officer, , pulled out a gun and demanded cash, according to the NYPD. In each of the seven instances , the suspect didn't display a badge.

The first reported robbery took place on Feb. 1, around 10:30 p.m. when the suspect stole $250 in cash and fled the livery cab around 226th Street and 147th Avenue, police said.

The last incident took place on Feb. 9, around 228th Street and 146th Avenue, in which the suspect allegedly stole $70 and credit cards.

The police released a sketch and video of the suspect and urged anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers. The Port Authority said it is isn't involved with the case since the robberies took place outside the airport.
