Voting process needs reform
I respectfully request that elections be conducted in a lawful manner in the United States, including that ballots be counted in a public and transparent manner.
Proprietary code programmed into electronic voting machines and memory cards does not tabulate votes openly or transparently. Recent elections have shown that electronic voting machine tabulators are prone to irregularities and errors. Furthermore, there is no way to objectively monitor the counting process. Therefore, electronic voting machine tabulators should be illegal in our elections.
They cannot be used without at a minimum raising an insupportable degree of suspicion about the accuracy of vote counts. This is a very serious issue and can only result in greater disquiet in the voting population the longer it is ignored.
