Sensitive coverage hard to come by

In this tabloid-infested society, I would like to commend amNewYork for the classy, honest and dignified manner in which they¹ve covered Patrick Swayze¹s battle with cancer. I wish other periodicals would follow suit.

When I passed by a couple of newsstands the day after this story broke, I was nauseated by some of the melodramatic, cheap, attention-getting headlines that caught my eye. Mr. Swayze, who has the reputation of being one of the true gentlemen in his profession, deserves better than that.
