Overpaid at the MTA
Re "The MTA¹s brass: What they're paid," (March 7-9):
I am appalled that MTA executives receive as much money as my salary for a "housing allowance" on top of their already ridiculously large salaries. Can they not find affordable housing and make do on $349,000 a year? And these are the same people who have the gall to call for rate hikes almost every year.
Is there no oversight of these persons who are robbing us working-class New Yorkers every time we step through a turnstile for their own personal gain?
