A Staten Island Railway train derailed early Thursday after striking the bumper block at the Tottenville terminal, the MTA confirmed.

The train engineer and the conductor both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Staten Island University Hospital, said MTA spokeswoman Amanda Kwan. There were no passengers on board.
